Springtime spent beachside in Florida or California is never a bad idea. But it’s no secret it can also get crowded. If you’re looking to trade in a busier scene for a somewhat quieter but still enjoyable one instead, consider a trip to the northeast region.  Here are 3 places to visit this spring. 

Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Beautiful blooms, a salty sea breeze, New England eats, and some whale watching too. What’s not to love?

Things to do: 

  • Take a nature walk. 
  • Hike or bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail. 
  • Grab lunch and an ice cream cone at Four Seas. 
  • Smell fresh flowers at the Daffodil Festival and Brewster for the Bloom Festival.  
  • Pay for a lighthouse tour. 
  • Get out on the water with Maritime Days. 
  • Go antique shopping in Sandwich.

Mystic, Connecticut 

This charming seaside town has a little bit of everything.
