By Liz Froment • February 29, 2020 • Holidays

When March rolls around, there is one event lots of people have on their minds.

St. Patrick’s Day.

You don’t need the luck of the Irish to celebrate. Luckily pretty much every city across the country has at least a few events going on so you have plenty of options.

But if you’re looking for a few adult beverages to enjoy while you’re celebrating, look no further than this list. Here, we’re going to share the best bars for St. Patrick’s Day.

McMullan’s Irish Pub – Las Vegas, Nevada

While plenty of the big hotels have Irish pubs inside of them one of the local’s favorite spots to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day is just off the strip. McMullan’s Irish Pub is open 24 hours so feel free to pop in any time of day.

The Dubliner – Dallas, Texas

Well, The Dubliner must be doing something right because it is the oldest Irish pub in the city. A secret of its success could be that it’s owned and operated by an Irish immigrant, so it’s got a fully authentic feel.

The Dead Rabbit is one of the best bars in the entire world. It’s regularly featured on all sorts of lists. So you certainly don’t want to miss the chance to hit it up this take on a “traditional 21st-century Irish pub.”

Erin Rose – New Orleans, Louisana

There’s never a shortage of places to eat and drink in New Orleans and the same holds true for being the life of the party. If you want a good spot enjoyed by locals in the French Quarter look no further than the Erin Rose.

You won’t find much information on the website for Tom Bergin’s Public House. But know from the locals that this bar, one of the oldest in LA, has plenty of great food and drink options for St. Patrick’s Day.

Galway Arms – Chicago, Illinois

If you’re looking for a more laid back sort of bar, check out Chicago’s Galway Arms. This bar is truly authentic bringing in live Irish music during the week, and bagpipes on St. Patrick’s Day.

Why is everything up here so delicious 🤤. I can’t stop eating, it’s ridiculous. Thankfully I am walking everywhere…. burn it off.

You will never find a shortage of Irish pubs in a city like Boston, but a few stand head and shoulders above the rest. One of those is JJ Foley’s, a traditional bar and grill that has been a staple for over 100 years.

Bub’s Irish Pub – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Bub’s Irish Pub is tucked away in the Germantown section of Milwaukee. While you might think pub means a cute cozy spot, Bub’s is huge, over 15,000 square feet, making it the spot to party for St. Patrick’s day in the city.

If you’re in any of these cities in mid-March, be sure to keep an eye out for these spots for a great St. Patrick’s Day.
