They’re known for their biscuits–which are served with every meal–, 11 am but patrons rave about the hearty breakfasts that are served all day. Puckett’s
A hoppin’ neighborhood joint, Puckett’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you want to make the most of your visit, try it for supper when it comes alive with local live music. Southern fried catfish, shrimp and grits, baby back ribs, and smoked meatloaf … they’re all on the menu here.
Las Paletas
Hope you saved room for dessert! A pop shop with an ever-changing menu, Las Paletas doles out frozen treats in fun flavors like banana with chocolate chips, avocado, and peanut butter. Dietary restrictions? Las Paleta has sugar-free and non-dairy options available as well.
Arnold’s Country Kitchen
For those in search of the best “meat and three” in town–that’s a hearty meal with your choice of meat and three side dishes–look no further than Arnold’s Country Kitchen, a local favorite that’s been cooking for more than three decades. The menu changes daily, but usually includes roast beef and chicken and seafood options, along with sides like mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Arnold’s is only open from 10:45am-2:30 pm, Monday thru Friday, so plan your visit accordingly.
The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden
Burgers. Beer. Milkshakes. What more could you want? Located in the middle of the trendy East Nashville neighborhood, The Pharmacy is all about the epic combination of mouthwatering food and a wide selection of German beer. Top it all off with an old-school drink or shake from their fountain!
Pancake Pantry
Loveless isn’t the only beloved breakfast spot in town. Located in the hip Hillsboro Village neighborhood, Pancake Pantry boasts a big menu … and even bigger pancakes! Of course, you can order old-fashioned buttermilk pancakes, but there are also more unique versions with sweet potato and cornmeal. Not feelin’ like flapjacks?
