If you love Epcot any time of year, you will especially enjoy it during the springtime, when their annual Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival takes place.
In addition to the great food, drinks, and live entertainment you already know, you will find gorgeous gardens, flowerbeds, and Disney character topiaries created by some of the very best horticulturists in the area.
Epcot is located about 25 minutes from Orlando in Bay Lake, Florida. It’s a theme park owned and operated by the Disney corporation. Inside of Epcot, it’s all about exploring the globe, under the sea, and even into outer space.
Gardens, Exhibits, and more
Epcot’s 28th annual Flower & Garden Festival is a place where you can eat and drink around the world and stop to smell the roses too.
Some of this year’s topiaries to look forward to including butterflies, pandas, Tinkerbell, Anna, Elsa, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and so much more. Altogether, there are over 100 topiary displays to explore. If you need help finding them, grab yourself a Garden Passport at your arrival, and enjoy a several-hour self-led tour.
The Garden Passport can tell you about more than just the flower stops, too. It also lists specific outdoor kitchens and drinks to sample in each of the different countries, as well as where to find some family-friendly fun for any kids in your party.
Pro-tip: Find out what kind of food, drinks, and entertainment will be offered during your visit, and map out your day before you go. That way you don’t miss out on anything you are really looking forward to.
This year’s Flower and Garden event is ongoing from March 3-July 5, with a special firework display taking place on the 4th of July.
