There you will find thrilling rides, live shows, plenty of places shops and eateries, craftsmen and more. Find out inside of this post.
Thrill Rides
What is one of the main reasons people visit theme parks? Sure, spending time with family and eating good food is the top of the list. But it’s also the rides, right? Getting strapped up to a machine that can whirl you around at 100mph is thrilling for most. Some of the most popular thrill rides at Silver Dollar City are Outlaw Run, Time Traveler Powder Keg, and Wildfire.
Craft Demonstrations
One of the things that help set Silver Dollar City apart from other theme parks is that it’s filled with assorted craftsmen including candy craftsmen, leather craftsmen, blacksmiths, wax craftsmen, and much more. Not only do you get to buy these special-made products but you can also see how they are made at one of the many demonstrations and shops located throughout the park. There’s not much cooler than watching a glassblower or woodcarver do their thing in person.
All New
Whether or not you are new to Silver Dollar City, you will discover the newest 2020 addition: Rivertown.
Get splashed, if you dare, on the Mystic River Falls rafting ride where there 200,000 gallons of water are flowing per minute. Or, watch other people get splashed while you grab a bite to eat at the Rivertown Smokehouse, where you will have a birds-eye view of the ride. Enjoy some of the best barbecue in the area like smoked chicken, baby back ribs and homestyle macaroni and cheese. Save a little room though because afterward, you will surely want some of Clara Belle’s (world-famous) Cinnamon Bread.
