Thankfully, this country is chock full of amazing bakeries that can make some of the most incredible options you could ever dream of, including pies. 

Yes, that’s right, there are restaurants, pie shops, and bakeries that serve pies so good they are worth the trip.

Franklin BBQ – Austin, Texas

Franklin BBQ gives you a real two for one. First, it’s consistently cited as one of the best BBQ joints in Austin, a place that’s known for its BBQ. And second, this restaurant has a small selection of amazing pies. A customer favorite is the bourbon banana pie.

Sweet Delights Bakery – Miami, Florida

Two Fat Cats Bakery – Portland, Maine

Portland, Maine has the distinction of being known as one of the best small foodie towns in the Northeast. The city itself is quaint and cute with a bustling waterfront area that’s chock full of cafes and restaurants. One popular option is Two Fat Cats, where if you try one thing it as to be the wild Maine blueberry pie.

Mrs. Wick’s Pies – Winchester, Indiana

This is a small local bakeshop but its pies are so good they get shipped all over the country. The specialty pie here is one that’s a favorite in Indiana, sugar pie. Want more options? Set foot into Mrs. Wick’s and you’ll see there are nearly three dozen different pies made on-site daily.

I Like Pie Bakeshop – Claremont, California

Just on the outskirts of Los Angeles, you’ll find I Like Pie a little bakery that makes a variety of fresh pies, both sweet and savory, every day. They have a seasonally influenced rotating menu, so you can pop in throughout the year and find new options. Favorites include their chess pies.

Maui Pie Shop – Kihei, Hawaii

Want to have some pies just like grandma made? Well, you won’t find a better spot than Maui Pie in Kihei. While they make plenty of traditional-style pies, where this shop has one big advantage is its tropical location. That means they can make a number of tropical fresh fruit pies, like cherry mango.
